Our Custom Amazing Race takes the city-wide competition, live checkpoints and ridiculous challenges of our Classic Race, then rebuilds the details around your company.

 From choosing a new location or personalising the route to adding company trivia, team values, branded materials or “in” jokes unique to your team, we’ll customise the details to bring your vision to life and make the race feel truly your own.

A live host kicks things off, explains the rules and hands each team a race kit. Choose your teams beforehand or leave the matchmaking to us. From there, teams follow custom clues across your chosen location, tackling puzzles, creative tasks and hands-on challenges built around your brief, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments captured on camera.

Speed helps, but it won’t win the race on its own. Points are awarded for creativity, strategy and sharp thinking, so everyone has a chance to make their mark. We work with you to shape the idea, then create the route, content and materials, supply the gear, staff the live checkpoints and stay in contact with teams throughout.

At the final pitstop, everyone reunites to tally the scores, crown the champions and hand out the medals. Office bragging rights included.

Important information

Duration: Usually 2-3 hours, with timing tailored to suit your event where possible.

How it runs: The format is based on our Classic Amazing Race, with teams following clues between checkpoints and earning points by completing challenges. The fastest-scoring team wins, so crossing the finish line first does not guarantee victory.

Customisation: We can change as much or as little as you need. This could mean adding company trivia to an existing race or creating a new route, theme and set of challenges around your brief.

Planning: You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. Tell us about your group, location and what you want from the day, and we’ll shape the race with you.

Teams: Decide your teams in advance, or we can do it for you.

Start and finish: Choose a starting point that works with your event. We can also plan the final checkpoint near your office, restaurant, bar or event venue.

Group size: Custom races can be designed for groups of any size, subject to the chosen location and event brief.

Weather: Races go ahead in wet weather. If conditions look particularly challenging closer to the event, we’ll talk you through the flexible options available.
